Obituary of Edwin G. Sayers

Sayers, Edwin G. Greece: Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the age of 97. Pre-deceased by his loving wife, Lois Marie. He is survived by his daughters, Peg Coddington, Patricia Patterson; son, Michael (Heidi) Sayers; grandchildren, Carrie (Matt) Dean, Jay (Erin) Coddington, Meg (Sean) Milne, Mindy (Mack Eason) Patterson, Timothy Patterson, Marco & Patrick Sayers; great-grandchildren, Codie & Kayden Coddington, Evelyn, Anna & William Dean, James, Edwin & Carrie Milne, Molly Rose Eason. Ed served 30 years active and reserve duty in the US Army and was a WWII Veteran; he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He also retired from the Veterans Administration. Ed was a frequent contributor to Upstate Magazine. He was also an active member and volunteer for 61 years at St. Charles Borromeo Church. No prior calling. Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 9:30am at ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CHURCH for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
