Dr. Bill was my orthodontist. He used to draw a smiley face on my nose and permanent marker. I had to go back to school with that. He was funny and I loved him. Years later I brought my son to Dr. Bill and he loved him as well. Our condolences for the family

I was a patient of Dr Piarulle sometime around 1965 or so. Just recently learned of his passing from our Orthodontic Journal. He was my inspiration to pursue a career in Orthodontics. I loved going to his office and his friendly demeanor. Im sure I was a handful for him back in those years. When I finished dental school and was accepted into graduate
Ortho at the Univ of TN, I wrote him to let him know how much I appreciated his guidance and encouragement, and he sent me a great handwritten letter encouraging me and letting me know I had made a great career choice. I will be forever be indebted to him.

I was so sad to hear of the Dr.'s passing. I have such wonderful childhood memories of our two family's. Many days and nights were spent together between Irondequoit and Greece, many Lancer games, many laughs but most of all always love and support. I think what makes me laugh when I think of my dad and the doctor is the two of them being thrown in the pool at a Lancer party, and the both of them trying to hold onto their hairpieces. Bless all of you during this time :)

Dear Piarulle Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear husband and father. Dr. Piarulli was so much more than a Dr. to so many.
As a child coming to your house for Lobster Dinner always sticks in my mind. I saved Larry the Lobster from the pot for awhile but then Dr. Bill explained to me that Larry must be with his friends in the pot. We also got pour beloved cat Star from your next door neighbor on that same visit.
I hope you all keep your memories close and remember what a beautiful person your husband and dad was.
Take care ,
Kim

Dr. Bill was my orthodontist 40 or so years ago in the office on Dewey Ave. I was the first patient he tried using the band-less braces on. Both of my kids have beautiful smiles now thanks to his expert care and they had such fun with him. He was truly a blessing to our family and our prayers go out to you all.
