Patti was first my sister-in-law, then my friend and finally a very close friend. Watching her fight cancer was a real eye opener to who she was inside. She declared she was going to fight to the very end and she did. She was so strong, never, ever complained and gave all who loved her encouraging words. She knew she was a great wife, mother and grandmother and also a friend. She had no regrets for the life she lived but she would have liked to stay around and watch her children and grandchildren grow to the good adults she knew they would become. I believe that you are watching over us now and your spirit is still with us.

Patti was the most wonderful teacher assistant to work with at Rogers School. She was thoughtful, kind and knew just how to treat students with special learning styles. I will never forget all the help she gave to me. Patti was always cheerful and fun to be with. She was a wonderful person and will be remembered by everyone who knew her.
