Zimmerman, Marcia P. Irondequoit; Surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the age of 72. Predeceased by her sister, Paula & brother, Raymond. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Ralph; daughters, Maureen (Robert) Hayes, Sharon (Alfred) Zimmerman-Quinto; son, Brian (Hanna) Zimmerman; grandchildren, Caitlin & Clare Hayes, Lilian & Noah Quinto, Katherine & Charles Zimmerman; sisters, Patricia Ganascioli, Mary McLaughlin, Irene Ayotte; sister in law, Charlotte Smythe; many nieces and nephews. Marcia was the heart and soul of her family. She unknowingly touched many lives and although she had many success and hobbies, her true passion was being was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. A special thank you to the staff at Wilmot Cancer Center, Visiting Nurse Services and Kathy Erwin's group. Her family will receive friends to celebrate her life on Tuesday 4-7 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday 10:30am at St. Kateri at St. Cecilia church for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
