Rochester: Friday, May 2, 2014 at the age of 97. Pre-deceased by her husband, Michael; sons, John & Peter; brothers, Daniel, John, William; sister, Anna Popowych; granddaughter, Jodie Oleksyn. She is survived by her children, Michael, Mary Ann Mastowski, Robert, Richard (Suzanne), Patricia Zahariades, James (Debra Maynard), Walter; 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; sister-in-law, Genevieve Pleckan; many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the staff on the 3rd floor at Kirkhaven Nursing Home for their loving care.
Her family will receive friends FRIDAY 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Panachyda 6:30pm. Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 10:00am at ST. JOSAPHATS UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH for her Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church, 940 East Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14621.
