Bill Zielinski, what a man. I first knew Bill from when he moved next door to my parents in Dansville. He was our family attorney and mine until he retired and moved to Rochester.
You could NOT find a truer and better friend than Bill. He was a true friend and I am proud to have known Bill. I told him the last time talked to him how much i missed his radio show.
God Bless Bill and watch over him and his family.

I will miss Bill who was my friend. He was always up on such subjects as current events, theater, movies, sports and stock market and eager to talk about them. While he didn't ever accept my enjoyment of Walt Disney movies he did not thankfully hold it against me either. His golf swing was a joy to see, I was honored to see his famous recorded "New York, New York" production and can only imagine what a hoot that actual experience was for Diane and him. He was a generous and gentle man to me.
My friend struggled to understand loving relationships. But he treasured the many phone calls from his children and his "vacations" to the summer houses on the lakes with family. He clearly loved Diane with all his heart.
I will miss him very much.

We are so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a huge part of our Dansville community and more important a valued member of our Rotary Club. We offer our thoughts and prayers to Diane and the Zielinski family. He will be forever missed.

I have many fond memories of Uncle Bill. One that particularly comes to mind is watching a video of he and Aunt Diane dancing. I remember thinking how glamorous they looked, and I feel like that really characterized him, always a gentleman. He was affectionate and generous. I was often surprised that he seemed truly interested in all our conversations, for him it was never just small talk. I'll always appreciate the care and concern he showed for me and my daughters, he was a wonderful Uncle and he will live on in our hearts.

We are very saddened to hear of Mr. Zielinski's passing. To our family, he was a giant of a man. When our mother was widowed at a very young age, it was he who stepped up & rallied a few good men to ensure that our family didn't fall through the cracks. He gave our mother a job, sound legal advice and made sure that she had all the necessary tools to not just survive, but succeed. She didn't waste these gifts and they remained lifelong friends. In her later years, our mother moved back home, and Bill picked up right where he left off; handling any legal matters for her and our family. He made his last visit to her about six months before her passing. It was a long ride from Rochester and could not have been an easy trip given his own health issues but he insisted on coming. They talked for hours and it was as if time had never marched on. Please know that we will be forever grateful to him.
Slan, Agus Beannacht de leath Bill.

Dad and Diane got to play golf a lot... many yrs in winter they went to Florida for a month of golf and sunshine. Now Toep and I are golfing more and more, and I think of Dad a lot when I am out on the course, now when I am out on a course, I will be remembering how much he enjoyed it in a different light...
