Obituary of Daniel C. Bement

Bement, Daniel Charles Charlotte: Suddenly on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the age of 59. Predeceased by brother, Peter Bement; step-son, Peter Merritt; sister-in law, Kathleen Recktenwald and father in law, Robert Recktenwald. Dan is survived by his loving wife and best friend Lu Ann Bement; parents, Charles & Edith (Dittman); sisters, Marianne, Virginia (Kevin) Benedict, Barbara (Dave) Yuhas; brother, Charles (Ann); step daughter, Tricia; grandchildren, Lee Ann, Ceara, Peter; many nieces and nephews. Dan loved everything outdoors, hunting, fishing and time at the lake. He touched many people's hearts and will remain in our memory forever. His family will receive friends WEDNESDAY 3-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Where his funeral service will be held on THURSDAY 10:00am. Interment Lakeside Cemetery, Hamlin, NY.
