Correnti, Samuel P.
Irondequoit: June 19, 1919 - July 1, 2014. Age 95. A kind and thoughtful man who loved his family, loved people and loved his country. Pre-deceased by his wife of 59 years, Ann Sheehe Correnti; sister, Josephine Hanna; brothers, Jim, Frank and Nick. Mr. Correnti is survived by daughters, Martha (Michael) Chandler from Austin, TX and Gail Correnti from Ervin, TX; many nieces and nephews; brothers, Victor and Joseph and sister-in-law Sarah Correnti.
The family wishes to thank Sue and Paul Cimicata who cared for Sam like a father also many thanks and much love to May Coley for all of her loving care. Sam was a two year Veteran of World War II having served in the Air Corps. He retired from Bausch & Lomb after 43 years and held memberships with, Early Settlers, Danforth Senior Mens Club and American Legion Post 1790. The Correnti family wishes to extend heartfelt appreciation to the staff and aids at the Legacy Senior Living Center at Clover Blossom. Family will receive friends MONDAY from 5-8 PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family TUESDAY 9:30 AM at ST. KATERI at ST. MARGARET MARY CHURCH (401 Rogers Parkway) for his funeral mass. Interment; St. Patrick's Cemetery, Mt. Morris, NY.
