I couldn't have asked for better Godparents! I remember being about 9-10yrs old and Uncle Sam and Auntie Frances were in Colorado on a visit. I was supposed to have a baseball game that day and he took me to the backyard to show me how to pitch before the game started. He went out to the backyard with me, put on a catchers mitt and even turned his hat on backwards and spent about an hour showing me the proper mechanics. The greatest thing is that I went on to pitch on many teams and even in high school using the same things he taught me that day. I will never forget what a great man he was and I will never forget the jokes and pranks he used to pull on my dad. You are going to be missed Uncle Sam and I thank you for taking the time you spent with me that one particular day!
