Schneider, Marie A. Irondequoit: died Thanksgiving day after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, John T. Schneider; her mother and father, Augusta and Karl Melich; 2 sisters, Paula Kolb and Helen Geyerl; 3 brothers, Alfred, Alexander and Harold Melich. She is survived by her 3 children, JoAnn (Philip) Ackerson of Henrietta, NY, Richard Schneider of Pawley's Island, SC, and Charlene (Thomas) Murphy of Wanamassa, NJ; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ethelyn Schneider; and many nieces and nephews. Marie lived in Irondequoit for over 60 years and then spent l0 years and the Linden Knolls and the last 2 years at the Friendly Home. We want to send a very special thanks to the caring staff at Lindsay Place at the Friendly Home. Her family will receive friends MONDAY 8:30 - 9:30am at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
