In the 32 years that I knew him, I never once saw him get upset. He was just a calm guy with a quiet sense of humor. He loved his family. I've lost count of the number of people who've recognized my last name and asked me if I was related to him. He was so quiet and humble that you would never know that he knew so many people, or that so many people knew him and loved his work. He will be sorely missed.

I always knew Tom was around when I smelled microwave popcorn! He was a nice guy to work with. Always so clam! I will always remember him when I walk through the 'Commons' at IHS...His iPod-with more songs than it could hold, telling him Allie said "Hi Dad!", diet pop, the 'diet cake' we ate, 'fat pens' from his wife Pam, helping him clean up, and more. I, too, met Tom at W. Iron. High 2 yrs. ago and really liked him alot. He was great with the kids and was a lot of fun to joke around with. I will sure miss him and his smiling face. Rest in peace, Tom.

I met Tom 2 years ago when he came to work at West Irondequoit high school. We hit it right off and I loved working with him. At times I would work right along side of him and I never once saw him get angry with the kids. I think he had a special knack for working with kids. He had a quick wit and a dry sense of humor. The kids loved him. I will miss sitting next to him and laughing like we did. He often talked about his family and that's one of the reasons I was drawn to him. He was a real family man. Even though I'm a Red Sox fan, he treated me like one of his best friends. I will miss you Tom.
