Dear Vallone Family,
You all are in my prayers. I will certainly miss Lewis' smile, his zest for life and his wonderful sense of humor. I remember so many parties he hosted with so much joy and enthusiasm. His friendship was a special blessing for me and for our entire family. I know that God has found a special place for Lewis, a place of calm and peace for a life well lived
May all the memories of his kind and generous life fill your heart with many special blessings. God bless you and your family.

Farewell dear friend,
I met Lew at the University of Buffalo in 1957. Since then we remained good friends. I have many memories of our days as fraternity brothers in Alpha Kappa Psi.
When we moved to the Rochester area from Niagara Falls we where able to socialize more frequently with him and his family. Lew was the perfect dinner and party host on Seneca Parkway. At Christmas time his tree was one of the highlights of the season.
Lew is my son David’s Godfather, which made us, in a sense, relatives. We invited him to our home many times for dinners, picnics, and parties. As our lawyer he represented us in several legal matters and did so with true professionalism.
We have many fond memories of him all of which reflect his friendly, happy, and loving manner. Lew was a perfect friend, loving son, loving father, and overall wonderful person. He will be missed but not forgotten.
May he rest in peace.

Just wanted to say how sadden I am to hear of Lou's passing. Worked with him in Family Court many years ago. He was a great man with a caring heart. He helped me through an anxiety attack in his wonderful way. He just smiled and told me he understood. I know he will be missed.

We were so sad to learn of Lou's passing. We were thinking of him, just the other day, when we spoke of our wonderful years on Seneca Parkway. Paul, do you remember your 16th Birthday and the "cake" I came out of.......................
We have so many wonderful menories of the Vallones. So many years have passed but the memories are still cherished.
We live in Skaneateles, New York so we will be unable to attend the funeral. Please know that our thoughts, prayers and hearts are with all of you.
Lou will always have a "special" place in our hearts..............

I worked with Lou in Family Court for many years. He was always a strong advocate for children and fought for their rights and safety every day. He always had my respect. I am sure that he will be sorely missed by all of his friends and family. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers, and remember Lou for the dedicated and kind man that he was.

I was so sad to read of Lou's death. I met Lou and Nina years ago when they had just moved to Baycrest Drive in Irondequoit. I helped Lou organize his "stuff" after moving in. We talked a lot about our mothers, and, caring for them in their older years. He did the legal work for me when I bought my first house at the age of 40. I always considered him to be the older brother I never had. He was so supportive of me becoming a librarian in my late 40s, as well as my union with Simon. I will remember many happy times with him.
In sympathy,
Christy Simons

I met Lew in high school (John Marshall) in the 1950's I lived on Magee Avenue, and he lived on Seneca Parkway, (next street over) Sometimes we would walk to school together. We remained friends all these years. I remember going to their summer cottage at Cape Vincent. I also purchased the upright Ampico piano from Lew and his mother. Nina came to see and hear the piano after I restored it. She was amazed. Within the last few weeks, I tried to contact Lew, but no response. I am saddened to hear of his demise., I will always remember his Christmas trees, and various configuration of lights on his tree.

I met Lou MANY years ago through Dignity-Integrity and we remained great friends ever since. I have such wonderful heartfelt memories of him and the great times and parties at his house and mine. He was such a supportive and compassionate guy. Several times over the years he offered me some pretty darn good advice. Somewhere in heaven right now I just know he is decorating at LEAST 5 trees for Christmas!! :-) I will miss him immensely.

Very sorry and sad to hear of Lou's passing. Myself, brother Michael and sister Joan and her kids have many fond memories of Christmas Eve with Lou. We had great political discussions when his sister Kathy was in town. Lou was the hot tub king and a very generous person, and was the best baker I ever knew. We shared herbs and garden plants and ways to stop deer and groundhogs from eating our vegetables. Lou had unique views on many issues but was always there to support you if you needed it. I know he loved his kids and grandchildren, and so my condolences go out to all of you, and to the many friends and colleagues who knew and loved him. I am glad he was at peace when he met his maker and mom and dad.
