Obituary of Florian H. Farley

Farley, Florian Rochester: "Farley's" spirit passed away peacefully after a brief illness at age 86 with family at his side on January 28, 2015, a gloriously sunny cloudless day. He was predeceased by his wife of over 60 years, Pauline Binette Farley in 2009, brothers Maurice and Reynald and sister Esther. He is survived by his brother, Roger Farley, his devoted daughters Carole (Michael) Farley-Toombs, JoAnn (Larry ) Zigulis, Linda (Keith) Sliwoski and Debbie (Vince) Tutino all in Rochester area, six loving grandchildren: Callie (Sean) Searley in Golden, Colorado; Dylan Toombs in Canmore Alberta Canada, Jason Zirgulis, Alannah (Eric) DeHond;, Samantha Nippon in Pultneyville, and Lillian Sliwoski , his adoring dog, Peppy, and many, many friends. He was born on a farm in Crysler Ontario Canada and had more than one lifetime's worth of adventures and range of experiences that were always built on a foundation of an incredible work ethic, love for his family, and a great appreciation for the outdoors. He was truly 'one of a kind' and he, and his remarkable stories and zest for life, will be deeply missed. No prior calling hours. Farley's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 7 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mark's Church, Kuhn Road, Greece NY. Reception immediately to follow in the church hall.
