The Mike McLaren family is very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a long term friend and fellow basketball player , both at Marcellus and Morrisville, where they won the northeast championship for jr colleges in the early 1950s. They each share their pictures on the athletic wall of fame at SUNY Morrisville, where they will be forever remembered for their outstanding quality of sportsmanship and ball games. Our deepest sympathy to your family. Jim was truly a special person. May he rest in peace.

I am sorry to hear of Jim's passing. My condolences to his family. Jim and I were classmates at Marcellus Central High School. I've only seen him once or twice since, but I remember him as a good-hearted, big-hearted guy. May the good Lord grant you comfort and peace.

Ann, Karen, Janet, Michael & family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. I will always cherish the memories of my times at the camp on Otisco Lake which were spent, much of the time, laughing at Jim's jokes or being at the receiving end of one of his teasing pranks! It is his sense of humor and gentleness that I will remember the most. He was truly a special man.
