Willie - so sorry I can't be there tomorrow. I remember your Mom being a woman before her time. She had a career when most of our Mom's stayed at home. She was our Girl Scout leader & drove a really cool TR-3. You will be in my prayers. Would love to have your and Doug's address. Love, Kathy

Dear Family:
I really wish I could be with you to share the memories and musings about Eileen, Bill and the Doyle/ Wilkinson clan. i have been recalling childhood visits to Bateau Terrace for a swim in Lake Ontario, and later, hospitality at the RYC during my frequent summer visits with Tim and Molly in the 1990s. My prayers are with you all tomorrow and I hope there will be another occasion to gather later this year.

Our sympathies to Eileen's family. She was a wonderful, intelligent and dynamic woman. I enjoyed the times spent with her playing bridge, and Dick and I both enjoyed being her neighbor in Huntington Hills and being together on various Garden Club social occasions.
I first met Eileen about 25 years ago when I substituted in a bridge group in Huntington Hills of which she was a player (and a very good one). There were four members and several substitutes. I was lucky enough to play often, and got to know Eileen quite well. We all had so much fun, and many good laughs! In addition to learning a lot from her, it seems that we were somehow related through Bill's side of the family - we never ascertained exactly how, or if it was a "shirt tail " relationship. On Christmas cards, she always signed "Cousins Eileen and Bill." We had visited the same places in Ireland, and had memories in common.
Rest well, "Cousin Eileen," it has been a privilege to know you.
