Crego, Dorothy B. Irondequoit: Friday, March 13, 2015 at the age of 94, passed on in the loving presence of her 2 sons, daughter-in-law, grandson and caretaker. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Paul Sr; her brother, Howard Borland; sisters Betty Thompson, Virginia Hinds and their spouses. She is survived by her two sons Paul Jr (Helen) and Jack. She also leaves her 3 grandchildren, Kevin and Michael Crego and Janice York and 2 great-grandchildren Devin and Jordynn. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and dear friends. Prior to becoming a housewife she was an executive secretary at Kodak as well as the executive secretary to the president of Sibley, Lindsey and Curr. She and her husband enjoyed many dancing contests including the jitterbug to the Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey Bands. She was a good neighbor for many years outliving most. Dorothy devoted her life and her love to her children and grandchildren and was delighted with her great-grandchildren. A special mention must be made to Leona Booth who cared for her every single day for eight straight years. Her family will receive friends TUESDAY 5:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South), where her funeral service will be held WEDNESDAY 11:00 AM. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Association, 160 Allens Creek Rd Bldg. 160 1st Floor, Rochester, NY 14618.
