We always so enjoyed both Betty and Bunky, especially their exuberance and obvious love for their family and Glenora. Breakfast on the Beach couldn't truly begin until Bunky arrived with his large pitcher of Bloody Marys. We will all miss him, his greeting whenever we boated into the south cove, and his wave as we all yelled "hello." A long life well-lived! Our deepest sympathy and prayers to you all. Joy & Matt Perry

We have the fondest memories of Bunky. He was such a warm and welcoming neighbor, clearly at the heart of a wonderful family, and quite an amazing guy. We know you will all miss him dearly, and we know you cared for him wonderfully. Our hearts are with you.

Jay,Jill and family, Sounds like Bunky truly had a great run, wow 95 fantastic!! I know the feeling of loss of Dad, but hope you will be comforted by all the memories. I have numerous fond thoughts of Doze and gang watching over Imperial Circle as we played through our childhood, I remember both Bunky and Betty as being welcoming and warm and always with a smile or waive as I went by to/from my paper route or stopped in to see if Jay could play, always made me feel like part of the family. Thank you and I'll say a prayer for all. Keep in touch, Much love and kind thoughts,Mike

Dear Morris Family,
It was with a combination of sadness and joy that I read the obituary for "Bunky" in today's newspaper. Certainly sadness for your loss, but also happiness for the life of a really special person in my own life. Someone I had not seen in nearly fifty years, but someone who was always fun to be with and full of life; a character not forgotten after fifty years.
Bunky and I worked together at Kodak's Hawkeye Plant in the mid 1960's when I first joined the company. He was a great boss and friend to a new kid just out of college. I couldn't have asked for a better mentor as I began to "learn the ropes."
He was always very spirited about his sports and Euchre. He took more than a few quarters from me during lunch hour games if I was on the other team. I got some of them back when we were partners.
Bunky's later life, from the obituary, seems just as filled with a jest for life!
My most sincere condolences on the loss of a man who was "One of a kind."
Jerry
