Dear Mario and family - I am so very sorry and saddened to hear about Mike. I want you to know that not only was he my late father's favorite barber, but also my son's. Kevin has Asperger's (a form of autism), and I'd bring Kevin in your shop as a young teen. He grew comfortable enough with Mike that he started going on his own (without my knowledge!) over the past several years. Mike's kindness and unassuming nature helped foster Kevin's independence, and for that, I'll be forever grateful.

Our deepest condolences to your family. I just learned of Mike's passing today and we are so deeply sorry for your loss. My son and I have been seeing him for haircuts for years now and he was always courteous and friendly, and he always had a smile on his face and was a genuine, kind person with a great laugh. Dear Darcey, I did not know Mike well but I do know you and I could always tell what a great person he was through you. You have a lot of wonderful memories with Mike. Perhaps if you jot down on a piece of paper each and every memory as you recall it and put it into a jar, you can then pull from that jar on the days that are especially difficult and capture a smile to help carry you forward in your day.
