I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother. My mother, Ceil Cosner, moved into St Ann's in the fall of 2011. She and Joanne knew each other from the Oakridge area. Their relationship at St Ann's was so important to my mother. She had a "friend" there. They sat together at meals-.I'd often find Joanne in my mom's room with her when I came to visit -we had some fun and interesting conversations- When my mom was in hospice care before she passed in the spring of 2013-I'd often find Joanne sitting with her as my mom was becoming very unresponsive. It was so nice to know that someone "special" was with her at times when family couldn't be there. So-thank you to your mom for being a special friend to my mom in their final years-your mom was able to "give" until the end
