Irondequoit: Monday, May 11, 2015 at the age of 95. Pre-deceased by her husband, Dr. Wasyl Zownirowycz. She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Jerry) Buzan; son, Dr. Roman (Lesia) Zownirowycz; grandchildren, Pauline (Patrick) Gallant, Dr. Andrew (Jessica) Buzan, Maria Elizabeth Zownirowycz, Mark Wasyl Zownirowycz; great grandchildren, Hayley, Michael, Isabella & Haidyn.
Olha was a volunteer for many years at Rochester General Hospital & a member of UNWLA. She also contributed donations to women's scholarships in South America.
She will remembered for her devotion to her family, faith and friends, her sense of humor, love and compassion for all.
The family extends a special thanks to all people at Stoney Brook Staff at Hill Haven who cared for her with such compassion and enthusiasm.
Her family will receive friends FRIDAY 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Panachyda 6:30pm. Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 9:30am at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church for her Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
