Jonathan, So saddened to read of the passing of your wonderful mother. I remember her well from volunteering with the P.T.A. at Colebrook School. She was an involved, loving parent. Also, I can still visualize the both of you on your afternoon walks. I am retired now but wanted you to know that your mom was one of those people from school that I will always remember. Time has a way of healing and leaving us with cherished memories. God Bless you at this time of grief. She left behind a wonderful boy who is all grown up now and will carry on... In memory of Alla, a dear friend from our childhood; a member of Plast (Ukrainian Scouts), which provided a formative, full of myriad activities, period of our youth when bonds of friendship were formed early on in the wider framework of the Ukrainian-American community in Rochester, N.Y. i am so sorry for your loss Jonathan. Your mom was a wonderful woman and she loved you very much. I am so blessed to have had the chance to get to know her. Losing a mom is one of the most difficult things a person has to go through. Please know I am here for you always to offer my support and to listen. You are a terrific son and your mom was very proud of you. Even though she is no longer here, her love for you will never end. Take comfort in all the wonderful memories you have of her and know you are not alone. You are surrounded by many people who love you and care for you deeply - especially me.
