Obituary of Arthur George Keegan

Keegan, Arthur G. Irondequoit: Sunday November 16, 2008, at the age of 81. Predeceased by his beloved wife Esther; brothers; John, William, James and sister Helen. He is survived by his children, Kathleen (Greg) Rumley, Arthur J. (Pier) Keegan, Monica (Tim) Bayer, and Mary Carolyn (Andrew) Harris and brother Robert E. (Fran) Keegan. He was grandfather of Kyle, Emma, Jonah, Courtney, Owen, Mary, Kelly, Nate, Nick, Timmy, Ellen, Catherine, and James and great-grandfather to Isla and Nora. Art was a naval veteran of WWII, retired vice president of Equitable Life Assurance, member of St. Margaret Mary parish, graduate of University of Rochester and Aquinas Institute. He was a founding member of the Ancient Gaelic Epicurean and Sporting Society. His family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8pm at the Funeral Home. Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday 10:00am at St. Margaret Mary Church for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute in Art's memory to Aquinas Institute, 1127 Dewey Ave., Rochester, NY 14613.
