My prayers and condolences to the entire Klimas Family. Dr.Klimas was my Russian professor at the University of Rochester and I remember how much he loved his wife and talked about her love of nature and gardens. She is now tending God's Garden. Peace be with Dr. Antanas and his children - Tadas, Ruta, Paulius, Lina and all the grandchildren.

So sorry to hear of my dear friend Danguole, but I know her body and soul are lighter.
We used to go everywhere together when she got older and couldn't drive much, she was a joy. She found joy is nature especially, she taught me so much and made me appreciate the littlest thing.
I remember once we were working on flowers and I needed something green not to heavy she said pick the birch tree branches, they have such small leaves so delicate in the Spring. She was right and I will never forget that.
She loved, being Lithuanian, she loved nature which is part of her Lithuuanian soul.
she loved her children and talked about them and her grandchildren every time we went out.
she loved to dance and I often thought she was the bell of the ball dancing and swinging to music.
Yes, she would repeat her stories and I could almost tell them word by word but she told them with such feeling. Leaving Lithuania with her mother was traumatic for her family. I will miss her. Prayers.
