Shepel, Maria Irondequoit: Friday, August 14, 2009 at the age of 93. Pre-deceased by her husband, Petro and her son, Victor. She is survived by her daughters, Nina(Anatoly) Ochmat, and Valentina Skrypka; grandchildren, Suzana(Sergio) Santos, Vera(Paul) Harris, Ihor(RoseAnn) Skrypka, Andrew, Anthony, Peter(Jennifer) Skrypka; great grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Meghan, Amanda, Elizabeth Skrypka and other family members in Ukraine. Her family will receive friends SUNDAY 2-5pm at the funeral home. Panachyda 4:30pm. Panachyda will be held MONDAY 9:30am at the funeral home followed by her Divine Liturgy 10:00am at ST. MARY'S UKRAINIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 3176 St. Paul Blvd., Rochester, NY 14617
