Obituary of Leonard D. Myers

Myers, Leonard D. Irondequoit: Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the age of 88. Predeceased by his brothers, Raymond & Edgar Myers. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Patricia; son, Thomas (Rose Mary) Myers; daughter, Jane (William) Marasco; granddaughters, Emily (Chris) Hergott, Jamie & Jill Chrostowski; sister-in-law, Noel Myers; several nieces & nephews. Lennie was an avid gardener (esp. dahlia’s). He enjoyed traveling & sports, especially the Yankees. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and retired as Vice President & Treasurer of Flower City Tissue Mills after 41 years. A special thanks to the nurses, aides & hospice at St. Ann’s Home for their kindness and concern. Friends are invited to meet the family Sunday 2:00pm at Summerville Presbyterian Church for his memorial Service. Interment was held in private at Parma Corners Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Summerville Presbyterian Church; 4845 St. Paul Blvd. Rochester, NY 14617.
