Obituary of Grace E. Leonardo

Irondequoit: Grace E. Leonardo passed away at her home on July 10, 2015 at age 86. Grace was a dedicated mother, caring for her daughter Deborah with special needs for 57 years. Her love carried beyond her children and large extended family. Grace enjoyed golf, playing cards and entertaining visitors with her unrivaled cooking and baking skills. Grace was preceded in death by her husband Eugene, son Eugene, and sister Ann Pisa. Mrs. Leonardo is survived by her sons Stephen and Kenneth (Elva); daughter Deborah; grandchildren Elisa (Dana) Vautier, Andrea Leonardo, and Andrea Allard; and four great grandchildren Lindley Grace Vautier, and A.J., C.J. and D.J. Allard. She is also survived by sisters Marie Graef and Jane (Jack) Cavalier and brother Frank (Mida) Cacciola. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be mailed to Camp Haccamo c/o Irondequoit Rotary, Attn: Dominic Fantauzzo, 30 Marco Lane, Rochester, NY 14622. The Leonardo family will receive friends Monday, July 13th 4:00-7:00 pm at Paul W. Harris Funeral Home (570 Kings Hwy South). A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, July 14th 11:00 am at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church, followed by her burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
