"I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part. God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart!"

I'm so sorry to just hear of Tom's passing. He learned of the RG&E Big Band by listening to my morning conversations on the way to work on Amateur Radio. He introduced himself to me on the radio and later came to a couple of our concerts just to hear the band. Tom would often stop by in the morning on the radio and say hi. A polite and courteous man who always made you feel good just with his words. I'll miss you Tom. Condolences to his family and friends.

My heart goes out to you. Tom was good friends with my late husband Michael. They would talk for hours over a cigar. Michael gave Tom all his empty cigar boxes which I believe Tom made a musical instrument out of . When Michael got too sick to visit or talk, Tom would phone me to check on us. He was a great comfort to me.
May God give you strength during these difficult times and help you to find peace and comfort in your memories. Tom was a very generous and caring man.

I met Tom through my sister and brother-in-law, Emil and Catherine Grenda. He was a very kind and gracious man and like a brother to Emil. I so enjoyed Tom and Emil's music renditions when Tom would be at their home. I even had the privilege to sing along with them and loved those moments. Tom was truly a gifted man, and while we are sad at his passing, there is comfort that he is home with the Lord rejoicing and praising His Savior. We will continue his song until we see him again one day.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life". I only met Tom once but he made me feel like we were close friends. A very personable and warm guy. So glad to know he is with the Lord Jesus in Heaven. With deep sympathy to his family and friends, may God's loving hand help heal your sorrow and touch your heart with the peace only JESUS can give.

I can remember my teenage year's walking home from Eastwood high school with Tom and Barbara.. They were my second family, as I spent many evning's at their home.. We had a passion for country music, and Tom taught me how to play the guitar...One evening when I arrived, Tom had part's of his first ham radio spread all over the living room floor..I was amazed that he had it built in one week. Tom showed me how to do morse code, and many night's we listen and talked to operator's all over the world...We joined the navy together, did boot camp and radio school, and then got separated, keeping in touch over the years...I married in 1964,and Tom was my best man.. I send my sincere condolence's to his family and to his sister . It is sad to hear of his passing, but there is joy in my heart, knowing Tom is home with our Lord, recieving a new body, no more pain, no more tear's. A life time of friendship I will remember..

I was an only child until Tommy came into my life. We connected in so many ways. We played music on the streets, along the canal and in senior centers. He loved plucking his banjo and watching little kids dance to the tunes.
We both matured in a blessed fellowship that was the
Bedrock of our friendship.
My prayers are for his precious family. And friends whose lives have been blessed by his friendship.
I miss you Tomoshus! But you are now at peace with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I can see Him smiling and His foot tapping to your banjo music.
I love you buddy,
Emil

My husband and I met Tom at a friends house last year. We were taken by his friendliness and warmth.
He shared songs with my husband, he on the banjo, and Larry on the guitar. His smile drew you in.
I was saddened to hear of his illness and when we heard, we prayed for and with him.
He received the Lord as his savior and is now in glory with Jesus.
He will be missed.
Larry and Karen

Tom was a special person! He was a loyal friend. I thank God for his life and for the gift of his friendship. He was very creative and talented and always willing to share his gifts with others; as well as encouring us to believe we might be able to do the same. Tom had that quality of making you feel as though you were the most important person "in the room" while he was engaged with you in conversation. I will miss him very much. My comfort at this sad time is knowing he is at peace in his Father's House (heaven) where I will see him once again---and he will be able to breathe freely and will be free of all pain.
May this truth also be a comfort to Ed, Lynda and all Tom's family.
Ed and Lynda, you meant the world to your Father and he expressed many times in these last weeks how happy he was that you were able to be with him. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

I work at the Evans library, and Tom was a frequent visitor. His visits never failed to makes us smile. Always complimenting the staff and bringing all-around good vibes, I am saddened that he is no longer with us to brighten our day. I'm sure the staff shares my sentiments and we send our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Tom, you will be missed and always remembered as a bright spot in our day.

I did not know Tom well, but I recall him with fondess. You see he was a very good friend of my Uncle Emil Grenda. When my Aunt Catherine and Uncle Emil relocated here to Catherine's hometown from Arizona years ago, Emil did not know anyone outside of family. I do not recall how long it took for Emil and Tom to meet, but once they did, they became close friends and shared a kinship over music that blessed the many people they played for over the past decade.
I recall Tom, such a nice and gracious man. One time my family and Tom were visiting the home of Catherine and Emil. My Mother was sharing stories from her youth and early adulthood before marriage to my father. They were the kind of stories typically kept within a family, yet Tom very graciously listened to my Mother and laughed along with the rest of us. I'll always remember that night.
I have never met Tom's family, but I pray that God will comfort you along with his friends during this difficult time. I am grateful to God that in Tom the Lord gave my Uncle such a wonderful friend.

We were neighbors for over 30 years. His children and ours grew up together.
Tom was always available if we needed help. I marveled about his creativity, it was great to get away in his backyard. Tom was on of those guys who contributed to society and his exuberance about life will be sourly missed
