Irondequoit: Sunday, August 2, 2015 at age 93. Dad was "a glass half full kind of a guy, everyday was sunny, everyone was a friend, every season was a National Championship Year", Thanks Dad for being the best Dad ever! We will miss you forever; we will love you for always ".Pre-deceased by his loving wife of 41 years, Joan, brothers; Louis, Florian, Francis & Clement, sisters; Rita Richards & Maryann Scharr. Leo is survived by his 10 children; Faith (Jack) Prochazka, Mary (Kenneth) Neward ,Thomas (Pamela) , Margaret (Michael) Garritano ,Paul (Kelley) , Jane (Dr. Daniel) Jorgenson, Rooney (Dr. Paul) Guadagnino ,Joseph (Kimm) , Monica (John) Sheridan , Daniel (Kelly), 29 Grandchildren,20 Great Grandchildren, sisters, Therese O'Connor , Marcia Calabrese, Regina Siesto , Roseanne Critchlow, brother Joseph (Judy) Wesley. Dad was a member of "the Greatest Generation", a B17 pilot in WWll', a very proud and loyal graduate of The University of Notre Dame class of 1949, and was a long time (20+ years) Comptroller of WHEC, Channel 10. His family will receive friends WEDNESDAY 3-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family FRIDAY 11:00 AM at ST. KATERI AT CHRIST THE KING CHURCH 445 Kings Highway S. for his Funeral Mass. Interment at a later date at White Haven Memorial Park.
