Obituary of Rev. John Robert Lee

Rochester: Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the age of 87. Fr. Lee is survived by his sister, Mary Virginia Martin of Dexter, MO; sister-in-law, Bernadine Lee; nieces & nephews, and his Basilian Confreres.
Fr. Jack was honorary trustee of the Charlotte-Genesee lighthouse historical society in 2013. In 2012 he was selected for inclusion into Elite American Educators. Fr. Jack was a member of Madison Who's Who Registry of Executives and Professionals. He received a certificate of Merit for significant Accomplishments in NY state archaeology & worked as an archeologist in Ukraine, Israel & Jordan.
Calling hours will be held Friday 4:00pm - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South) where Evening Prayer will follow at 7:00pm. Fr. Lee will lie in state from 8:00am - 9:15am on Saturday at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church where his funeral Mass will follow at 9:30am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Basilian Fathers Scholarship Fund at St. John Fisher College, 3690 East Ave., Rochester, NY 14618.
