Potter, Donald F. Irondequoit: Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the age of 96. He is survived by his daughter, Lorna P. Majors; son, J. Warren Potter; grandson, Nicholas Liam (Jennifer McDowell) Majors; great granddaughters, Jaelyne & Braedyn Majors; sister, Sheila (Howard) Bodner; dancing partner & dear friend, Kathereyn Brown. Don attended East High School, University of Rochester, Ohio University in Athens, Ohio & Harvard Law School. In 1957, Don was sworn into the US Supreme Court where he practiced law for many years. During his local law career, some of his partners included, Antell, Potter & Harris Law Firm. Culley, Marks, Rieftech, Tanenbaum & Pezzulo Law Firm. Don was a founding father of the Cerebral Palsy Assoc. of Rochester & Al Sigl Center. He also was an Ancient Mariner of the Rochester Yacht Club and member of the Rochester Community Players. His family will receive friends Wednesday 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South), where his funeral service will be held Thursday 11:00am.
