Obituary of Yolanda Henkes

Henkes, Yolanda (Castrechini) Irondequoit: Born in Pontecorvo, Italy on June 4th, 1941. Yolanda passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on August 17, 2015 at the age of 74. Predeceased by her parents, Giulio & Benedetta. She is survived by loving husband of 50 years, Klaus; daughter, Susan (James Reed) Henkes; son, Robert Henkes; grandsons, Thomas & Nicholas Reed; siblings, Aristide (Lisa) Castrechini, Milena (William) Melino, Victor (Patricia) Castrechini, Alex Castrechini; many nieces & nephews. Yolanda was a loyal & devoted wife, mother, grandmother & sister. She loved being with her family and in her home, working in her garden and spending time with her adoring grandsons. No prior calling hours. Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday August 29th at 9:30am at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church (445 Kings Hwy, 14617) for her memorial mass. Interment Private.
