I was so very sorry to read about Mr. Kirchgessner's passing on 9/10/15. I knew him through my late father, Albert Sereika, as they were close, life-long friends. My Dad always spoke highly of Dick and Jane and shared memories of the past and their friendship. The last time I spoke with Mr. Kirchgessner was at my Dad's memorial service 2 years ago. Ironically, these friends passed on the same day, but 2 years apart. I pray that that Al, Dick & Jane have reacquainted in heaven and are all watching down on our families. I wanted to share this 1944 picture of Albert and Dick that was in my dad's photo album. My sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful, gentle man. Christine Sereika Gear

Dear Donna, Eileen, Nancy, Kenny and Family - Our hearts are filled with sorrow for all of you on the passing of your dad. He is definitely in a "better place" than the rest of us and is also reconnected with your mom. I will always remember the "good times" we had on Sunday"s as we got together on Pardee Street at Grandpa and Grandma Kirchgessner's. Nancy, Donna, Eileen & Kenny, I will always cherish my memories of your father. When I think of him, its always good. A loving husband, a dad that loved his children & would do anything for them, and a man with beautiful Faith. I thank God that I was able to know him. To the Kirchgessner Family, I as so sorry for your loss of Richard, what a dear man he was, I have fond memories of speaking with him at the cemetery when he visited his beloved Jane. I recently saw him at Wegmans doing some shopping. He was always happy to see a familiar face. Please know his site at the cemetery will be watched over with Jane's. Dear Donna, Eileen, Nancy and Kenny Your Mom and Dad were the perfect Team. Very seldom did we say Aunt Jane without also calling for Uncle Dick.
