Obituary of Salvatore J Parlato

Parlato Jr, Salvatore J Irondequoit. Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at the age of 77. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law Robert Hoerner and Thomas Krajci. Mr. Parlato is survived by his beloved wife, Dolores Frates Parlato, siblings, Lucian(Josie) Parlato, Frances Hoerner, George(Linda) Parlato, and Rosalie Krajci, nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Buffalo, he was an alumnus of Holy Cross College and Syracuse University, was a teacher of ESL in the Greece schools and active in media and literature for many years. He belonged to Veterans of Foreign Wars and Cooper Marine Corps Post 603. His family will receive friends Thursday 4-8 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Friday 10:00am at St. Margaret Mary Church, 401 Rogers Pkwy., for his funeral mass. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Rochester School for the Deaf, 1545 St. Paul St., Rochester, NY 14621
