Brown, Patricia B. Winter Haven, FL/ Irondequoit: Passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Sunset House with her family at her side at the age of 80. Predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Anna Blakley. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William R. Brown; children, William(Keiko), Sue Anne(John) Kawecki, Ross(Amie); grandchildren, Dylan(Katie Marsjanik), Chloe Brown, Karin(Aaron) Kibbey, Tina(James) Rapp, James(Alisa) York; great grandchildren, Gillian and Liah Kibbey, Nicholas, Matthew, Jacob Rapp; sister-in law, Arlene Parry, nephew, Douglas Parry and many other nieces and nephews. Pat was born May 25, 1929 in North Hornell, NY. Pat graduated from Haverling H.S. in 1947 and then from Geneseo State in 1951. She and husband Bill Brown were married in 1951 in the chapel of the V.A. Hospital in Bath, NY. Pat and Bill lived at Four Lakes Golf Club in Winter Haven Fl for the past 13 years. She was very active in ladies golf and charities. Pat was an elementary school teacher for 30 years. She started her career in Caledonia, NY then to, Bath, Irondequoit and her final teaching years at the Greece Central School District for over 30 years. A special thank you to the caregivers at Hildebrandt Hospice and the Sunset House for your loving and special care. Her family will receive friends SUNDAY 1-4pm at the funeral home, where her funeral service will be held MONDAY 10:30am. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Sunset House, 3746 St. Paul Blvd., Rochester, NY 14617.
