Greece: Wednesday September 23, 2015 after a brief illness. Predeceased by her loving husband Mikola and mother Alexandra. She is survived by her adoring daughter Lana Rudy Grossman and her devoted son-in-law Dr. Joseph Grossman, son Eugene (Margaret) Kowaluk, grandchildren Elizabeth and Stephen Kowaluk and very special friends Helen "Sweetie" and Frank Monacelli. Many friends, relatives in Europe and her precious puppies Dolly and Sasha.
She worked for over 25 years as a team leader in Quality Assurance at Bausch and Lomb. Volunteered for decades at St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church. She will be remembered for her beauty, elegance, kind soul, generosity and unconditional love. Her passion and devotion to gardening was evidenced by her award winning roses that included winning 22 first place ribbons and trophies.
The light of her life was her daughter Lana with whom she has a forever and always bond.
Her last decades were filled with joyous times. She enjoyed her travels to Europe, day trips, gardening, embroidering, restaurants, sightseeing, shopping, but most of all she enjoyed quiet times at home with her loving family.
No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to her Panachyda Monday 9:30am at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South), followed by her Divine Liturgy 10:00am St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
