Obituary of John J. Conlon

Conlon, John J. "Jack" Irondequoit. Sunday, August 30, 2009 ate age of 86. Jack is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeanne, children, Mike(Joanne) Conlon, Kate(Alan) Whiteside, Pat Conlon, Maggie(David) Unger and John Conlon, grandchildren, Matthew, Molly, Michael(Jessica), Emily, Meaghan, Tim, Amy(Nick), Andrew, Liz, Mark and Shannon, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jack was a combat photographer in WW II having served on the USS Hancock in the South Pacific. Graduate of Western Michigan University, Kodak employee for 35 years and a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church for 56 years. A special thank you to the nurses at the Lipson Infusion Center and at the Palliative Center of Caring at the Heritage at St. Ann's Community. No prior visitation. Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday 12:15 pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Church for his Memorial Mass. Interment will be held in private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester, NY 14623.
