Family,
I was Martha Telesca's daughter-in-law. Although I normally don't view the obits in the newspaper, I noticed Evelyn's passing and was wondering if this was Martha's sister-in-law. Her picture looked like the person I'd met before. I'm guessing it is because I recall Evelyn's son was Glen, and Linda and Karen's names seemed familiar as well. In any event, I wish to send my condolences in the loss of your mother. She was a sweetie.
The last time I saw Evelyn was when she "took in" Martha Telesca, after a hospital stay, to convalesce at her home in Irondequoit. Your mother was welcoming and so gracious to me and my children (Missy and Michael) when we came to visit Martha. I was impressed with the fact that Evelyn took such good care of Martha in nursing her back to good health. Prior to our arrival, Evelyn must have been able to coax Martha into taking more regular showers because Martha's hair was still wet from bathing. God bless Evelyn!
Well, that's my remembrance story and I do hope this is the family I recall. Again, I send my sympathy and do pray that this is the Evelyn in question.
