Stevens, Gordon S.
Irondequoit: Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his brother, Robert. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Virginia; daughter, Anne(David) Welsh; son, Eric(Sandra) Stevens; grandchildren, Ian and Erin Welsh, Alan, Dennis(Vanessa) Stevens, Amy(Darren) Yehl, Emily and Justin Stevens; great grandchildren, Olivia Stevens; many nieces and nephews. Gordon was very active at the Irondequoit Senior Center where he enjoyed playing and teaching card games. He also was an avid fisherman, wood worker, bowler, and builder of model airplanes and boats. Gordon also was very active with The Boy Scouts.
Gordon's memorial service will be held SATURDAY 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Boy Scouts of America, 474 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14607.
