Eberhardt, Carol Robertshaw Irondequoit: Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at age 80. Predeceased by brothers, Lynn and Donald. Carol is survived by her husband of 52 years, Werner; children, Paul, Kristin (Jeffrey) Izzo; grandchildren, Sarah, Laurel, Grant, nephews and cousins. A dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, Carol was also lifelong educator, passionate about Special Education and ESOL. Her tireless pursuit for social justice brought many Cambodian families to Rochester and beyond, all of whom she loved dearly and like her own children. Carol's tenacious spirit and unfailing compassion will be remembered by all who knew her, most fondly by her family and close friends. Her family will receive friends MONDAY 4:00 - 7:00pm at the Harris Family Center (560 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family TUESDAY 10:00 AM at SENECA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH (121 Scholfield Road) for her memorial service. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carol's name may be directed to UNICEF or Doctors without Borders.
