Zinn, Ronald C.
"Lefty Evans"
Irondequoit: Peacefully passed at home on October 13, 2015 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his son, Ronald. He lived a lot in his time! At 16 years old he joined the Navy SeaBee's and was stationed in the south pacific during WWII. He then became a country music singer where he played bass & guitar. He was on local radio, TV and also the Big D Jamboree in Dallas, Texas. He toured the east coast playing country music and comedy with his close friend Smokey Pleacher.
He came back home and played many places with his own band, Lefty Evans and The Bell Boys. He also drove trucks for M&M and Red Star.
Ronald enjoyed hunting & fishing with his boys. He enjoyed life & a good party. He always had a big smile and a sense of humor till the end. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
