About 6-7 years ago I worked as a server for Elderwood. Mary was an absolute pleasure to see every night in the dining room. She shared many interesting stories and "life lessons" with me. She even distantly knew my grandparents from Hempstead Avenue and it delighted them to know that I was working with a childhood friend of theirs. Now, I'm working as a physical therapist with many older adults each day... Mary is still a face that I remember and think of from time to time. I hope her family and loved ones are doing well. She left such a positive and lasting impression on my life.

What a dear to have known in these last few years . Loved seeing the photos of a much younger lady as well! We will all miss her jovial nature. The last time I saw her she asked me to sing and I obliged. (I don't sing!). We will keep you in our thoughts as you pass through these days and say a prayer for her family and her soul. Ronny and Charlie, I remember your mother so fondly. She was always so caring to me. My condolences to you and all your family. I am writing on behalf of my mother, too. She and Mary were very close as cousins. After a very long life, she is with the Lord now. Love MaryEllen

I remember Mary working - as a waitress at Skinny's. I was young and thought it so cool that she could take her break and sit and eat with us. Later on I would see her when I worked at various places in Midtown Mall, and she worked in bakery at Wegmans. She always had a smile for her young cousin. And later (or before?) working with Aunt Anna and Cousin Joe at Mangione's Italian Foods in Point Pleasant. Rest in peace, dear cousin.
