Dear Mrs. Keenahan,
I was sorry to hear from my brother, Karl that your husband had passed away. You were good and caring neighbors. I know my parents felt that way too.
I remember Harold as a great gardener. Once I brought a LARGE carrot that I had grown in Connecticut to show him. Of course his were bigger than mine. Several summers when my boys were small I visited my father in Rochester. Once I remember Harold came over to play crochet with Dad, my boys and me. These are just small things but often it is the small things that bring a smile to your face. I know it has helped me since our son passed away three years ago. I hope they bring a smile to your face.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself.
Love,
Anne Church Gatti

Dear Mary ..
My deepest condolences to you and your family. I'm not sure you'll remember me, but we first met at the 7th Photo Group Reunions at Norfolk (1995), Salt Lake City (1997) and in Savannah (1998). We disbanded quite awhile ago as the group kept getting smaller and smaller, but we sure had many fond memories through those reunions. I believe you were the only other member from Rochester. My husband, Bill, passed away in 2008, but the many Air Force friends we made through these reunions will always be our most cherished memories. I remember the stories they use to tell about Mt. Farm where they were stationed. I think you lived on Sagamore Drive for many years. Once again, to you and your family, my deepest sympathies.
