Irondequoit: Passed away suddenly April 27, 2016 at age 63, after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kathleen, brothers Paul (Lilliam)
Schlachter, Jim (JoAnn) Schlachter, sister Lisa (Denis Gordiner) Schlachter, sister-in-law Carol Corlett, nephews Mark (Marybeth) DeRoller, Matt (Julie) DeRoller, Brian (Tony Palos) Corlett, Scott Corlett, Bill McGovern, Michael (Christina) Schlachter, Gregory Schlachter, Adam Schlachter, nieces, Katie Rose Repp and Stephanie (Dan Kalin) Repp, great nephews Alex, Ethan, Zachary and Eric DeRoller, Wesley and Wetera Schlachter, great nieces Phoebe and Jenna DeRoller, Nicole and Taylor Corlett. Beloved pets Gracie and McGee. Predeceased by parents Leo & Rita Schlachter, in-laws Wilbur and Martha Ellis and sister Mimi Repp. Peter was an alumnus of Aquinas Institute & Dartmouth College. Peter was also a 35 year retiree of Delphi and had been currently working at Sears Holding. Peter enjoyed public speaking, was a member of Toastmasters Intl, and loved gardening, reading, antiquing and music.
