Irondequoit: Monday, May 16, 2016 at the age of 92. Predeceased by his first wife Olga Baran. Mr. Baran is survived by his second wife Luba Bilozir, daughters, Veronica(Robert)Royal and Monique(Nick Loan) Baran, grandchildren, Elizabeth(Ian)McCoy, John Paul(Kara)Royal, Natalie Royal, Nina Loan and Carol Loan, 5 great grandchildren, sister, Yaroslava(Bohdan)Leskiw in Ukraine, closest niece, Zoryana(Serhij)Bilyk and other relatives in Ukraine.
His family will receive friends Thursday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home, Panachyda 7:00pm. Friends are invited to meet the family Friday 10:00am at Ukrainian Catholic Church of Epiphany for his Divine Liturgy. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Elderly Support in Ukraine, C/O Ukrainian Cultural Center, 1040 Jackson Rd., Webster, NY 14580, RUFCU Acct. # 1100570753.
