Obituary of Donald M. Ryan

Ryan, Donald M. Irondequoit: Surrounded by his family on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the age of 66. Predeceased by his father, Clifton. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Patty; his mother, Dorothy; daughters, Bethany (Andy) Latta, Bridget (Nick) Minute; grandchildren, Ryan & Adelyn Latta; twin brother, Ronald (Carol) & brother, Allen Ryan; mother-in-law, Lynn Hogan; sister-in-law, Eileen (Mark) Osika; brother-in-law, Dan Hogan; many nieces & nephews. A very special thank you to Timothy Woodlock, MD, Kathy Penny, NP and their team at the Unity Oncology Infusion Center at St. Mary's Hospital for their wonderful care and constant support over the past two years. Also we are deeply grateful for the expert care and guidance from Michael Eilo, PA and Yana Levin, MD in the ICU at Unity Hospital. Thanks also to Ronald DeMatteo, MD and his amazing team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NYC. Utmost appreciation to Mohamedtaki Tejani, MD and his team at the JP Wilmot Cancer Center for their care and compassion. A special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at Strong, including Barney Goldstein, RN and Victoria Pate, RN, for the kind care and support for Don and his family during the past few days. His family will receive friends Wednesday 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South), where his memorial service will be held Thursday 10:30 a.m. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.
