I was saddened to hear of Annie's passing. She was my supervisor, mentor and friend 25 years ago. I can hear her bright laughter, her strong instruction, and compassionate words whenever I think of her. She spoke often of her family with great pride and love. She will be missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers! May you all find peace and comfort in each other!!

I will always remember Ann for her enthusiasm in the service of others. She enabled a generation of Case Managers to connect with those they served to achieve their individual goals. She lived 'person centered'. The world is a better place because she was with us. May her love continue to comfort her family and all of us who loved her.

I was deeply saddened today to hear of Annie's passing. She was a beautiful soul who left us far too soon and the world is just a little emptier today. It would be impossible to describe in a few words what this remarkable woman meant to so many people.I had the honor and privilege of working for Annie in her Case Management Program for many years. She possessed a bottomless wealth of knowledge which she freely shared with her staff whenever her counsel was required. Her "open door" policy made her always accessible and ready to help.No question was ever too trivial or silly. She made sure of that. She was ferociously protective of her staff and those that she cared about. All of us were reassured, even during periods of change or crisis, that we would be be alright because Annie always "had our back." That did not change even when she retired. Not to leave a job unfinished, she made sure that her program was left in very capable hands. The spirit in which her program was conceived would continue on.On a more personal note, no one can forget her infectious laugh and her ability to find the humor in all things. It would seem that most any event would remind her of a story or some event from her life. She would love to tell them and she had a bottomless supply."Annie's little stories" we used to call them.I will miss them the most.God bless you, Annie. Thanks for being part of our lives and blessings to your loving family and friends.

It was a privilege to know and work with Annie for many years at GMHC and RMHC. Before knowing her, I knew of her from my mother's friend Marie Hanson, who was active in the health care field, and interfaced with Annie in that work. For many, she modeled what good care management looked like. She will be missed.

Ann was a friend and supervisor to me for many years. She was a mentor and fierce advocate for the mentally ill, I learned so much from her. I was so saddened by her sudden passing so early and too soon. My deepest sympathies to her family and my prayers are with you at this difficult time.
