Gugel, Helen B. Irondequoit: Pre-deceased by her husband Jacques and her son David. Helen is survived by her loving children, Ellen(Steve Munden)Gugel, Mary Oliver, Anne Gugel, Paul(Kiki)Gugel, Monica(Keith)Barnett, Peter Gugel and Katie(Tim)O'Neil, grandchildren, Erin and Daniel Oliver, Joshua Gugel, Jack and Abigail Gugel, Hannah and Aiden Barnett, Connor O'Neil and several nieces and nephews. Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor. She was an active lifelong parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Church and maintained close contact with her classmates from St. Ambrose, Mercy High School and Nazareth College throughout her life. Helen loved those in her life deeply and will be dearly missed by many. Her family will receive friends Friday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday 9:30 am at St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church for her funeral mass. Interment will be held in private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to School of The Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester, NY 14623 or St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church, 401 Rogers Parkway, Rochester, NY 14617.
