I worked with Doug at Unity for 5 years before I left in 2011. He agreed to be a reference for me. What a super person. We talked a lot about movies and he was wealth f information about movies. We talked and shared about places we had traveled to. We talked about the job at Unity. We were friends. He will be missed by those he knew and who knew him God bless!

I'm sorry for your loss. I worked with Doug for over 3 years at Rochester Regional Health. We both worked at Unity before the merger and after. We didn't work in the same team and we didn't work together often but he was always helpful and had a smile in the hall. We will all miss him.

There are no words that I can use tto describe how I feel about losing such a great friend, neighbor and man! He was the best all round person you could meet! When he came into Michele's life nothing could have made her happier which made me and my son PARKER happy as well! Such a good soul he will be missed more than than he could ever imagine ! I remember so many good times with you Michele and your wonderful Doug. Fred and I would come and visit you in your beautiful home and Doug would barbecue in the back yard. It was the highlight of our visits to Rochester. Now Fred and Doug can be barbecuing together in heaven where there is no pain and complete happiness. Douglas Lansing was my late husband Joe's first cousin. His sweet Mother, Aunt Lena loved each of her children w/ all her heart, but Doug was her baby & now they are together again.
