Hamilton, Kenneth J. Irondequoit: Monday, October 12, 2009 at the age of 82. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Elizabeth (Messe); children, John Hamilton, Ann(Michael) Catalfano, Mary Beth(John) Meade, Brother Jim Hamilton CFC, Thomas J. Hamilton; grandchildren, Lisa(Dan) O'Brien, Mark(Andrea) Catalfano, Bridget & Kyle Meade; great grandson, Danny O'Brien; 4 sisters, Rita Walzer, Virginia Hamilton, Sylvia Burr, Joan Pratt; sisters in law, Jane Messe, Laura Hamilton; brother in law, Edmund Kane. many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends. Kenneth was a 1945 graduate of Aquinas. He served in the US Army, and then graduated from RBI. He retired after 38 years from Eastman Kodak. The family wishes to thank the health care workers of Unity Hospital, especially the 3100 unit. Also the many angels of Visiting Nurse Services and Palliative Care Unit at St. Ann's Home who assisted us during these past two weeks. His family will receive friends WEDNESDAY 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family THURSDAY 9:30 AM at ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE CHURCH for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Congregation of Christian Brothers, 21 Pryer Terrace, New Rochelle, NY 10804, or Visiting Nurse Foundation Inc., 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY 14580.
