I am SO sorry to have missed giving my condolences in person. Your Mom was a wonderful person. I loved seeing the montage you put together, I even remember a couple times I was there with her and your dad, in particular the King and Queen at Bunratty Castle :) She was friends with my Dad, having worked for him in East Irondequoit, I think at Norwood? and he spoke so highly of her. I remember once going over to your parents' house. They were watching Wimbledon, with their lunch on TV tables in front of the TV. Don't know how much she shared your Dad's passion for tennis, but I thought they looked so in sync and happy with each other, I never forgot that. Both my parents and now yours are gone, but their gifts continue on. I'm sure she will be very missed, and especially remembering her before her illness. You all hit the jackpot with both your parents!

I remember Mrs. Shahin as a woman of great talent, with a dynamic personality that added energy and life to all occasions. I am grateful for the friendship Joyce and Ray had with my parents. I was always in awe of both your parents, and inspired by their marriage and creative life. I extend my sympathy to you all; be comforted to know you had an amazing and loving mom.
